They nag you for money but when they get it they don't send you a settlement letter

My husband has settled his account, he has been trying to get his letter stating that its settled to get him removed off the the credit berau. if he does not get this letter today he will be taking this further and reporting this company to the NCR. because this debt is prescribed. he is tired of calling them.
