They can claim but do not have to issue a statement of account

A text was received advising that monies was owed to MBD INC on behalf of Virgin Active. The fact that money was owed was not in dispute. However, MBD thinks that they can simply provide an amount and a banking account and one must simply comply.

Numerous requests (at present 4) to be provided with a complete statement of account has proved fruitless. However, I am sure that should we finally receive the statement of account then these calls, made to them to request what they had promised, will be feed as well.

The agent was also unable to provide any information as to what court tarrif they were using or how exactly the fees were calculated. The only information that they seem to have at there disposal is what is to paid immediately or in installments.

There is a term in law called the "mitigation of loss". It would appear that MBD INC systematically and regularly does everything in their poower to increase fees and hold debtors to randsom.
