Summons threats
I am writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the repeated threatening emails I have been receiving. These emails appear suspicious, contain multiple spelling errors, and often request that I open attachments using my ID number. They reference supposed summons and Section 129 notices, but their tone and format strongly resemble spam or phishing attempts.
I have tried to verify the legitimacy of these communications by engaging with your team via the Nutun online chat, speaking to a representative named Melissa. However, I have been unable to reach anyone directly via the contact numbers provided, as none of them seem to work. This lack of accessible and transparent communication raises serious concerns.
Moreover, I have already discussed and attempted to make payment arrangements with one of your call center agents via WhatsApp. Despite this, I continue to receive aggressive and threatening messages. I have also sent multiple emails regarding this matter and have yet to receive any responses.
To date, I have paid over R10,000 towards this account. Yet, these payments are not reflecting, and I am now being threatened with legal action. This approach feels both unjust and deeply distressing, particularly when I am making every effort to resolve the matter in good faith.
I respectfully request the following:
A confirmation of the legitimacy of the emails I’ve received.
A full statement of my account reflecting all payments made.
Clarification on why these payments are not showing and why summons are being threatened despite communication and payment efforts. Immediate cessation of threatening correspondence while the matter is being investigated and resolved.
