Settlement Amount!

I recently requested a statement and a settlement amount for my handed over debt. To MBD Inc and got responses after I had to appeal through Hellopeter. The settlement amount was so different from the one I had gotten from one of their colleagues. Actually it was now double instead of being lower since I had paid previous installment. I ended paying the initial settlement amount and sent proof of payment but I did not get response since I enquired about the discrepancies.
