Sadly - Disappointed with the service level received

To whom it may Concern.

I would like to start off to express my disappointment / disgusted with the services received from MDB Attorneys. Isn’t Debt collectors there to assist in collecting money? If Yes Sadly not MBD.

I have a few accounts, 4 accounts which was either bought out by MBD and or one that they are doing the collections for.

I spoke to a colleague now that is with a different collection agency, she was called and was offered a discount on load that was also bought out. The worst part about this is all of her loans is below R 5000.00. She was offered 30% discounts on 2 accounts. There is a 2 more accounts that I wish to settle. One is a bought out account and the other one is collection that I would like to settle by December, They are all over R 10 000.00 (Hopefully there will be a settlement amount)

I called MDB on numerous occasions (and the last one was still early this week) and was advised that MDB does not offer settlement discounts on account that is less that R 10 000.00.

That to me is deeply disturbing and that is just making it clear what MBD stands for. Quite clearly MBD is there to make money and not looking at the client needs.

I called the last month for a ABSA loan and there was no settlement offer. And I had to pay the full amount. (which was then paid of the 27 May 2024 - today is 12 June 2024 and not letter have been received to advise that the account was settled) Again this is proofing that the service delivery is up to…………. And they are only after the money and no client service whatsoever. And I had to pay the full amount. Called them again on Monday For my ABSA Credit card and again there is no Settlement.

At this moment I’m going to bring my monthly premiums down for the accounts that was bought by MBD and focus on my others accounts since there is no effort from MBD in assisting clients. Quite clearly the business model is to make money and push the poor deeper into debt. Disgraceful

Then there is othe rbedt collecting companies going out of their way to make life easier. Action speaks loader that words

This is sad to see what the services is about.

People are trying to settle accounts in this day and age we live in and that is the thank you we get from Money Hungry Debt Collectors.

Some operators is spoke to was brilliant (very few) and then there is the rest, there to earn a salary and client service is out the door.
