RIPPING ME OFF

I got handed over to MBD level collections by Capitec bank in March 2014 due to missed payments. The balance on the loan then was R64 000 and I made arrangements to pay R2 500 pm since I could not afford to settle the account. I paid R2 500 every month as promised since end of March 2014 until end of November 2015. During all those twenty months I received no correspondence from MBD, no statement, no phone call, nothing. Until December 2015 when I missed the payment, I received a phone call enquiring about the missed payment. I asked how much the balance was and the consultant said the balance was R48 000, I asked how come and they told me about interest that has been added when my account was handed over. I then asked how they calculated their interest and I was told that Capitec is the one that added the interest when the account was handed over. I called capitec head office and the lady on the phone refused to tell me how much my balance was according to capitec (which I don't understand why if that's MY account). She then sent me their email address and said I should write them an email explaining everything. I sent the email and got an automated response that they have received my email and will respond within 5 working days. they have not responded since then, it's been more than a month now. Right now the balance is above R50 000 they keep adding interest and phoning everyday demanding payments. So far I have paid R50 000 (R2500x20months) since the account had been handed over. I last checked my credit report in July 2015 and my balance on the capitec account was R27 001, early this has i tried consolidating my accounts with old mutual but changed my mind. the amount in my capitec account was reflected as R14 000 (which makes sense to me since I have up to now paid R50 000 out of R64 000). I don't understand where MBD gets their ridiculous amounts and why capitec refused to tell me my balance when I called them. and also why the amount reported on my credit report is different from the one MBD is claiming that I owe. Please I need to change my car, this while mess is holding my life back.
