Request for Confirmation of Settlement and Discount Agreement

I am writing to express my concern regarding my account that was handed over to MBD by Cell C for collections. MBD offered me a 40% discount on my outstanding balance if I settled the account in full, which I did. However, it took some time to receive the paid-up letter, although it has since been issued.

I kindly request that you please send confirmation to Cell C stating that a 40% discount was offered and that I have fully settled the account as agreed. Cell C’s records still reflect an outstanding balance of over R900, which is incorrect and is negatively affecting my credit score.

I would truly appreciate your urgent assistance in ensuring that the correct information is communicated to Cell C so that my name can be cleared.
