PUBLIC WARNING - Beware

I PAID OFF my Truworths account in August 2013!!!!! I phoned them to get my settlement amount, and also phoned thereafter to insist on getting a letter that will state that my account has been paid off, and they informed me it will be posted, which off course... they never did! <br> <br> Now all of a sudden, out of the blue TWO years later, they started harassing me again, saying I still owe money on the account! I still have my proof of payment of the settlement amount, and they admit that it is reflecting on their system, but the so called Manager (Fortunate) informed me that whoever gave me the settlement amount, did not make a note of it on the system, and therefore, my full and final amount that I paid was not allocated correctly, and therefore, interest gathered on my account, as it still showed an outstanding balance! <br> <br> I want this sorted out as I do not owe one single cent on this account. It was all paid up in August 2013 and if the harassment in the form of calls, letters and email continue, I will hand the matter over to my own lawyers as I am fed up with these ****** who knows NOTHING about customer service as I have had to deal with the *********** call centre personnel!!
