Prescribed debt

I get calls from this company daily regarding a Woolworths account from 2007. <br> I asked the lady when last this account was paid and she confirmed in 2007. I asked her if she understand what prescribed debt mean and she inform me debt can only prescribed if I went to court and get a letter to state that it's prescribed. She want me to send that letter through from court to state that. <br> Do you give your call center agents any training. The law clearly state that after 3 years of last payment on an account the debt subscribed. For her to try and convince me that I need to go to court and apply for this account to be declared as subscribed is a joke. I also informed her that it's a ******** offense to even contact me regarding this account whereby she awnser it's my debt and I better pay it. <br> <br> Your company is a joke and I'm fully aware of what my rights are. I will be lodging a complaint against this company at the council of debt collections and also at the law society.
