Prescribed account

I recently got hold of my ITC report which reflects information on a old Foschini account I opened 13/06/2008. I contacted TFG they confirmed that the account was prescribed. The account was handed over to MBD and written off by TFG. When I contacted MBD attorneys, they emailed me a statement reflecting a much higher balance than what I had owed. As per the prescription act I'm not obliged to pay a prescribed account. The last payment made was in 2010. Kindly remove the information off ITC as it is ******* to collect on a prescribed account.
