PATHETIC DEBT COLLECTIONS

Good Day , I recently have been receiving smses from MBD on behalf of standard bank so I called to enquire what is going on , They informed me that I owe standard bank for a credit card taken out in 1989 that I am supposed to pay now however I do not recall ever having a mastercard with standard bank at all during that time as well as owing them any funds , I got a very rude customer service lady who informed me should I not pay they will take legal steps which I informed her that she needs to make sure I receive the documents that they have claimed to be sending for the last 26years and proof of taking the account also i questioned as to why it took so long for them to contact me , I was told to not question them and should I not pay they will take the steps further.<br> I have been to std bank and they could not find anything.The service from MBD was disgusting as I was shouted at and when i retaliated I was told to stop shouting so I said no as I was being shouted at 1st!!!I cannot believe after 26years they are now claiming I need to pay a huge amount , there must be some Investigation done here!!!
