Paid up letter still not sent

Hi, I had a foschini account that was handed over to MBD attorney for collection. I had a monthly arrangement for payment with them which I honored every month of R250. At the end of July I settled the outstanding balance of R5400 and since that payment I called MBD the whole entire week making sure that the account has been settled and closed which they confirmed after being taken from pillar to post. I then requested a paid up letter which I was told I will receive once the account is updated, it's been almost a month and still no letter. I'm very frustrated because I call continuously and I'm always told \ we will email it to you mam or we will make a note thte system"which one is it really. I need the letter as a matter of urgency and then ducking and diving is not helping much. When they were pestering me with calls to collect they were persistent now that I settled the account to hell with my needs basically """
