Where do I even begin.

So , I am in the process of buying my first house, credit checks comes back and tells me about an old credit that I'd completely forgotten about that is somewhere in arrears blocking me from going forth with anything. Takes me about 2 days to get a hold of someone to find out where the card is, and how much I owe, so I can pay it back and move on.

Finally get a hold of someone and receive a statement of the outstanding amount. (R16K) I settle it in full (on a monday) so there is no more issues going forward with my home purchase. Phoning everyday, sending mails and even whatsapp messages to their so called customer care line for a R0.00 balance statement to give to the banks so as I can move forward and buy this house (bare in mind there is very limited time to so applications and I fear I have lost it due to MBD's utter incompetence) It's Sunday now and I still haven't heard a peep from them regarding this, no adjustments on my credit score or anything, so I ask, how TF can people be so lazy, one simple document , ONE!! THIS IS ALL I NEED , now , thanx to these ****ing people, I stand a very big chance of loosing this house.

Yet another institution, moving backwards to help destroy this country and the families that live in it.
