MDB ****

I had an account with FNB of which according to me the account was fully paid. Next thing I know the account was left opened and accumulating interest monthly and no one from FNB bothered to call me and follow up on the payments. In June 2019 I had a consultant by the name of Faith K from MBD calling me about the account with a R600 balance which was supposedly handed over to them by FNB and the consultant told me the account had a discount offer of R350 to settle. I paid the amount and requested the account to be closed and also requested for a settlement letter from Faith, of which she told me the letter would be sent to me latest 15 July 2019. We are now in May 2020 no letter has been sent to me despite the monthly calls I make to MBD using my airtime, only to be told there is nothing they can do until FNB sends them the settlement letter. But when they were demanding money it was not an issue, but now I need a settlement letter then its a problem. To make matters worse in September 2019 I was contacted by Debt In on behalf of FNB telling me my account was handed over to them. Of which I don't understand, was I ****med in the name of MBD by a consultant called Faith claiming she works for MDB with an email address : *** or what because she is the one who contacted me to pay the account and now all of a sudden to get a settlement letter is a problem Now I don't know who to trust. MBD/FNB/Debt in, because even when I try to call FNB directly to enquire about this account no one seems to know what is going on, I am being sent from pillar to post. This is very ridiculous and at the moment I am very angry with the service around this account. Is MBD ******** people or what.
