MBD Took my Money and Harass Strangers to get hold of me

I accepted a settlement offer on an ABSA Personal loan acc. I paid it in full on 28th January 2026. Until today I've not received a paid up letter. I have sent more than 25 emails and 47 phone calls. You are lucky if a call gets answered at all and on the rare occasion that someone does answer, the call is dropped instantly.

Even when the call is dropped, no one phones me back. I cannot get hold of anyone, their WhatsApp channels are a joke as it's not attended to and in the meantime they text me 5 threatening messages a day and ABSA has sent me more letters regarding this.

To top it all off - they started phoning my brother's ex girlfriend of 20 yrs ago that we have no contact with looking for me...... *** then she posted on FB about how she's being harassed for my debt and other people had to me know.

I dealt on email with Karabo Modisane and Bongani Ntshangase they stopped responding the minute i paid and sent proof of payment.
