MBD should not be taken seriously
Where does one begin, MBD is an unprofessional collection agency! They are ***********, rude and well, rude! I opened an RCS account with Game to finance a PS4, (had I known better I would have just saved up and bought it cash, but we all make mistakes.) To avoid funds being depleted before payments were made I requested my debit orders be made on the 25th of every month. God knows why that didn't happen, ultimately without my knowing or being informed by the company, account was handed over to (you guessed it) MBD. MBD demanded high amounts to cover arrears that were not my fault to begin with and I flat out refused to pay ridiculous amounts. We eventually settled on a monthly amount that would not hurt my pockets, that went okay for a few months, until it didn't. I sent MBD an email, after failure to get hold of anyone over the phone explaining that I would have a setback with payment for a certain month and that I would pay double the following month. Trying to make up credit scores and what not I wanted to make good on it somehow. These payments did not reflect anywhere and I still kept receiving calls that I cannot answer during working hours and SMSes demanding I make an arrangement! Mind you I cannot come to the phone while at work and I emailed THEIR address that THEY have put up should you wish to contact them via email. a few days ago I get a call from Savesh, a snot-nosed arrogant punk who addressed me as if I owed him child support demanding I communicate with him on HIS terms. I refused and advised him to adhere to my email as I am unable to attend calls until 6pm. Dude hung up without a word. I had initially emailed them to arrange a settlement to have the default deleted from my report, I am partly glad I didn't because based on the reviews and **** service I would still have that reflecting negatively on my report even after settling. MBD should not even be considered and worthy of making listings on credit reports. The unprofessionalism and incompetence is pathetic. How are we supposed to make fixes for the betterment of our credit when their service is appaulling? I have had a payment issue with Cell C and I was contacted immediately to rectify the issue and arrange payment, the good done towards payment was documented accordingly and the service and response was swift and effective. MBD is utterly pathetic and the credit companies should disregard its integrity.
