MBD ****

Last week I reviewed this company for constantly harrassing and threatening me. In December , the first time they contacted me, I was told that my virgin active account was handed over to them and the debt was R1314. I agreed to make a payment of R440 then which I did on the 27th of December 2018 (reducing my balance to R874). Afer making the payment I did not receive any statement from them just to acknowledge my payment and show what my outstanding balance was. Instead, they continued calling and threatening me, thats when I decided to review the company here demanding for the statement to be emailed to me. A day later (1 February 2019) I received an email from their Customer service consulatant ( Ingrid Peters) with a breakdown of the outstanding balance. To my surprice the balance had an additional R200 for 'LEGAL FEES' meaning instead of R874 it was now R1074. I was told if I did not settle the total amount in full within 7 days of the date of the letter (31 . 01. 2019), I would be charged additonal interest and legal fees ( I still have this letter as it was emailed to me). For the sake of peace I paid them what they wanted , on the 5th of February which was 4 days later I made a payment of R1080. I then email Ingrid Peters proof of payment and until today she hasnt rep**** but their agents are still calling my number with more threats and you guys had an audacity to comment on my 1st review and say the case has been resolved knowing very well that you ddnt do anything. They call with a private number and apparently my account is still outstanding. I asked the agent that called to tell me how much am owing but she refused to tell me .Note that I have paid these people R1520 in total and they are still demanding more. Clearly these people are a **** and am taking this issue to media and law clinic because I am tired of their threats and harrassment.
