MBD REFUSES TO ISSUE AN ARRANGEMENT LETTER
Good day, I have outstanding debt with Standard Bank that has been handed over to MBD Attorneys. I'm busy trying to secure employment and am battling to get an arrangement letter due to a poor payment history. Four different call centre consultants advised that I don't qualify for an arrangement letter and to qualify I would need to make 3 consecutive payments. I have since honoured this requirement and have made the 3 mandatory consecutive payments. I have sent e-mails to *** and still nobody is able to assist. I will lose out on employment opportunities if I do not have this letter urgently.

18 Mar 2021, 12:10I have since received an e-mail from Arthur Monchu in the Legal Processing Department promising me the arrangement letter once my payments are reflecting. The payments have been confirmed to be reflecting but still no arrangement letter is forthcoming. How long exactly does it take to get an arrangement letter? I have been specifically clear that job prospects are hanging in the balance as a result of this letter and no one appears to be taking this seriously. I hope Hellopeter can escalate MBD to the relevant authorities as they should be banned from collecting debt altogether. This is not the way to treat people.
