MBD is messing up peoples lives.
Hi my name is Mlindelwa.
Few years back the Bank I had a credit card with, transferred me to the attorneys “MBD”, I tried to give all proof to the bank that it was their technical error that the money had not been debited and I had funds in my account at the dates they should have debited, But the matter had been taken to the Attorneys.
So I started communicating by an email with MBD on the 16/06/2021 requesting to settle my debt, they never responded.
Then I started phoning them, and still was no help. Eventually one consultant assisted, on the 29/01/2022 I paid up all the money I was owing.
Up until now I am try to get the paid-up letter and the refund of R450 they debited after I had paid up my debt.
My lease with my Landload ends in Dec. I have bought land to build, Now I cannot build because no bank or any financial institute wanna help me unless I present the paid up letter. The Building contractor supposed to start working today *** And MBD has messed up my life so much cause I have to look for another place to stay and not build for my Family just because they don’t wanna send just one letter saying I have paid up last week I phoned them everyday and they kept on saying the supervisor is will elevate the matter and he will phone me.
It has been 8 Months.
Please somebody help me.
On the 29/09/2022 I phoned again and was promised the supervisor was going to phone me, he never did.
Again on 30/09/22 The consultant told me that the supervisor did try contact me the phone went on voicemail and they requested an alternative no. Still has not received any call
I have been promised that the matter will be escalated and treated with urgency.
But nothing has materialised.
