MBD is failing to provide paid up letter even after settling the account

I paid my standard bank credit card on the 13th of April, and i have been since calling them to send me a paid up letter, every time i call, when i request for the letter either the agent hangs up, or they tell me to call a Percy guy whose number does not event go through, the service is absolutely terrible, they must just shut down, its a month now still no paid up letter, experian is waiting for this information in order to update my records, i cant even get a job now because of my profile which has not been updated.
