MBD is exhausting!!!!

I have an account which was handed over to MBD legal collections and I want to settle the loan but MBD has been sending me from pillar to post, each person saying something completely different to the next. They hang up on you, promise to call back , some say the account is closed, but all in vain. I cannot clear my name from this account and cannot obtain credit, MBD refuses to assist me.
