MBD HARASSMENT FOR A DEBT I DON'T OWE

MBD have been harassing me so badly on my work landline to the point where I may lose my job. All of this for an alleged debt that I don't owe / it has prescribed (dates back to 2009 apparently).

The people who call me are so rude and they start their call off with "I'm calling from MBD Attorneys and I want to speak to ...... regarding the debt she doesn't want to pay. This is on my work landline by the way!!!

I have tried sending emails, my attorney has sent mails, I have tried calling them, etc. but to no avail, I keep getting told that I purposely don't pay and I'm a terrible person because I'm trying to run away from debt, etc. It's shocking!!!

I have confirmed with Standard Bank that I never had this debt with them and my attorney has confirmed that this debt has never reflected on my credit reports.

What am I supposed to do now? What if I lose my job over this?

In my opinion MBD are totally unprofessional and bullies.
