Mbd does not want to give me my paid up letter

So I was owing Mr price account and mbd bought the account from them,now I paid them the money I was owing,and they playing catch me if you can,they don't wanna give me my paid up letter,when I call they say they can't find me on the system,I have all the proof to show how much I owed and paid.please assist
