MBD Credit Solutions phone harassment tactics.

I pay my monthly amount of R200.00 to MBD debt collectors for a Woolworths credit card which i no longer have. This is the amount which MBD and myself have agreed upon. I first started paying R50.00 a month due to financial problems and i have increased this amount to the current amount of R200.00 over the past 5 years. The problem is that i get constant phone calls from MBD a couple of times a week asking me to increase this amount, pay the full outstanding amount at a reduced rate and they keep sending smses to my phone aswell. I have asked them multiple times to contact me via email with regards to such information and offers, but they keep on phoning to a point where it’s becoming harassing. The consultants are also very rude and when i say i do not feel comfortable giving out my personal details or that they must stop phoning and contact me via email, they say they will be charging me for phone calls etc.

I feel this is a continuous harassment strategy, and that such companies needs to be closed down, investigated or fined due to the nature of their methods.
