MBD Credit Solution Denies Me a Paid-Up letter

I had a credit card debt which was being paid through MBD Credit Solutions. In January 2019 I received a call from MBDCS informing that the account had outstanding amount of R1480 and I was advised to make an arrangement to settle it, which I did.

In February I sent an email to request a paid-up letter and never received response. After calling several time without success I let the matter go because I had noticed that MBDCS was no longer debiting my account. at the beginning August 2019, I received a call from Brooks and Lyt Attorneys informing me that the account was owing R6000 and I needed to start making payments. I then called MBDCS to request a paid-up letter to prove that I had settled the account. The agent confirmed that the account was closed and I would receive a letter within 3 working days. After 5 days I called again and was my call was transferred to a Ntebaleng who told me that they will not issue me with a paid up letter and whatever I paid was an estimated amount and the account was no longer with MBDCS. That is not the story I was told in January and I was curious as to why they did not inform me when I requested a paid up letter.

I referred the matter back to Woolworths and I have not received a response. My name is being discredited just because MBDCS lacks competence in informing clients of their accounts and misrepresents information. I want a paid-up letter and full statements!
