MBD Collections-******* Letters of Demand

I recently received a notice regarding an amount that had been handed over to MBD Collections due to an apparent default on a credit agreement. The credit agreement in question is not in default, as evidenced by the continuing debit orders that have gone off my bank account since inception of said agreement.

I have tried to contact them on numerous attempts to resolve the matter, to no avail. And I now see that the full amount has appeared on my credit report history as outstanding

They are very quick to send letters of demand and impact a consumer’s credit score however do not provide appropriate means for the matter to be queried and sorted out which is in breach of the National Credit Act.
