I don’t mind when MBD calls me regarding the account. I have made my arrangements and I sticking to it until my situation changes and I can continue as per normal. I have explained my situation and there is nothing more I can do at this time.

For the last 3 – 4 weeks MBD has contacted me every day, Monday to Saturday. Every time I answer the call agent ends the call. I can clearly hear their breathing in the background, and “office” noises etc. Some time I answer then there is a voice note that says I must hold on (for up to a minute or more) then I hear someone in the background then they end the call. Sometime ago the call agent said “hello” and ended the call, she said one word. Again, after the voice note said to hold on. This is done deliberately. There is nothing wrong with my phone as I have taken other calls before and after calls from MBD. Then just after the call they send me a sms saying I must call MBD.

I suppose it’s easier for someone(referring to call agent) to make a note on your system and say they “tried” to call the client than to do their jobs and speak to client.

From now on I will not “hold on” just to have the call ended when your agents call me. I will not call back when you send me an SMS because I can’t due to my situation, I have explained numerous times. You can email me.

If MBD call agents are *********** or too lazy to do their work, do something about it. This behaviour is childish to ask a client to hold on or just to end the call when client answers. Take a little pride in your job.

This conduct from MBD is utterly unprofessional and pathetic to say the least. One would expect Discovery bank to use company with a bit more tact.
