MBD Attorneys giving me sleeplessness night's

I was handed over to MBD Attorneys by Edgards, i kept on paying my outstanding however i was informed that my balance is not decreasing instead is becoming even higher. I then requested the consultant to give me the whole balance which was R1471.00 & on the the 16th August 2021 i settled the whole amount.

During the month of September one of the consultant called and informed me that i have an outstanding balance of R800.00, i asked them to check on the system because i have already settled my account, she told me that no payment was made on my account and on my side I've been waiting for the settlement letter which to date i haven't received. Furthermore, i went back to Std bank just to confirm if the money was paid into the correct account, Std bank confirmed and even tried to get hold of MBD Attorneys, in vain we failed.
