MBD Attorneys Don’t know what they doing!!

MBD consultant informed me I had been given a discount on an account if I settled and closed on that day. I paid the amount and now I’m being told I still owe ?!? I want recordings of the conversation now I’m being told they can’t assist me, I must contact game to get settlement amount!!!! This is unacceptable as I settled that account to live a debt free life in these trying times. I asked the consultant thrice if she is sure this is the settlement amount as I want to close and she assured me it is! Now who must be responsible for the new amount as I did my part as a customer who paid amount I was told ?!?
