MBD Attorneys accounts discounts are NOTHING BUT LIES !!!!

MBD called me to offer a 50% settlement discount on my SABC TV licence account on 26/10/18. I have made the payment, sent the proof of payment to MBD and requested a settlement letter which I have not received to this day. I have not received any form of correspondence from MBD after I've made payment. I received a statement directly from SABC with an outstanding balance. I have been calling and sending email to get clarity about the status of my account or get confirm whether the so-called discount is legit as the SABC statement states differently? I then forwarded my proof of payment and MBD correspondence to SABC to ask them to intervene/investigate/advise on the way forward for my account seeing that interest is accumulating further amount. No response received from the SABC.
