MBD and Edgar's ****

**** of the lowest kind. Devised some **** to de***** people out of their savings by using scare tactics and harassment with phone calls and SMS'S saying they owe money on their accounts even if you don't have an account. They have created a scheme where if you ever opened an account regardless if you used it or not they are billing people for the card now once a month. If you try to close this account it impossible. Nobody gets back to you to show that the account is closed yet the following month you receive yet another bill. Same goes for people that indeed owe money on their accounts. Once settled and wanting to close said account no proof is ever given nor does anybody from their firm get back to you and behold you receive another outstanding bill the following month. It also doesn't help that Edgar's is strapped to the gills with ********** card sales. People are complaining that they are not using their cards yet purchases are coming off their cards and they are receiving the bills. MBD as well as Edgar's care less about this and hold you to book for the debt. Something is seriously rotten with these guys and the cahoots they are up to. I for one have been to Edgar's, called their head office and inquired about my supposed account and none was found on their system as I've never had an account with them. When I inquired with Edgar's membership help line what else to do they suggested I call a company linked with MBD re this supposed account that they cannot find any record of. My other concern is that after a few months of them calling of at least 7 different numbers I even started getting messages on my spare Sim card which I use for emergencies. This Sim card is not even 2 years old and has never been linked to any profile or account and is a pay as you go yet somehow MBD has gotten hold of this number. This is of great concern as it demands an answer as to where and how they get their information on people's private data. I really think this entire situation stinks and something needs to be done about it as it's been going on for a long time now and they keep getting away with it. Carte Blanche or 3rd Degree needs to do an investigation into all of it and broadcast it for all to see what's going on. They are robbing people blind during a time when nobody has money to spare.
