Interest on Licence Accounts is *******

My account was late by 60 days and have levied an ******** 10% per month. I have paid my account in the meantime and they refuse to credit the interest charged. SABC charges 10% per month interest on outstanding licences. This amounts to over 120% per year. Interest is also charged on interest. This is way above the maximum allowed by the credit act. And the Law Giant MBD is assisting the SABC of milking their few licensed viewers. MBD should know better as they work with acts everyday. According to the credit act, licence accounts falls under incidental credit and the maximum allowed is 2%. I even send e-mails to both SABC and MBD but no surprise that they don\t even respond.
