This company contacted my wife several times looking for me. My wife was under the impression it's telemarketers so I asked her to get their number for me so I can call them. On the 23 June 2020 I called them and were told they are from Mbd credit solutions acting on behalf of Homechoice and that I my account is in arrears. I have never in my life had an account with homechoice and it's obvious identity theft has occurred here. I was told by this lady by the name of Priscilla to send them an affidavit from the police to *** or fax it to *** and that they will investigate. Priscilla gave me a reference nr ***. I emailed the affidavit to them on the 24th July 2020.

This morning, 14 August 2020 i received a message saying that i must pay R994. 53 and if unpaid will affect my credit. I called the number attached to that message and spoke to a lady that didn't give me her name but she knew who I am and told me she is not aware of any affidavit that was send by me and dropped the phone.

Firstly, Mbd Credit Solutions did not have my contact details but my wife's number. Since I've send them the affidavit with my number attached on the affidavit it seems to me you have updated my contact number but are not aware of my affidavit. Secondly, Homechoice opened an account for me by someone who used my identity number without verifying if it is really me. Thirdly, my credit status clearly shows how i conduct my finances and most of my accounts are either paid in full or up to date. Do you really think i cannot pay an account which can affect my credit status?

It's nauseating to deal with something or someone where you really not even supposed to have any connections with them especially if the people who suppose to deal with such things are *********** to do so. My wife was harassed by this company. I called this company and did what was asked of me but still people who work in this company do not do their duties sufficiently.

Please, it is clear I'm a victim of identity ***** and resolve this issue or do you want innocent people to pay for crimes committed by *********.
