******* debt collection by MBD attorneys on NSFAS account

I have been harassed by MBD attorneys for over a year now. They phone me and send sms saying that my NSFAS account is outstanding and needs to be paid. The smses I receive on a weekly basis go as follows: "Despite our agreement, no payment was received on your NSFAS loan. Make payment now or call MBD on ***. Ref: 0*7*0*0**1192**4" The one time I answered the phone, they begged me to pay at least R500 a month to them for NSFAS to which I said that I do not trust them and when I pay money to NSFAS I will pay it directly to them and not to a law firm I don't know. Additionally I have never received notice that my account with NSFAS has been handed over to any attorneys.

I have also looked at the debt collectors that are used by NSFAS (they are on the NSFAS website) and MBD Attorneys is not one of them.

I would like MBD attorneys to stop contacting me or I will take it further.
