I paid the amount I owed to TeleMetrics, but when I asked for proof of payment, they refused to give it to me

I paid the amount I owed to TeleMetrics, but when I asked for proof of payment, they refused to give it to me. Now, TeleMetrics has handed over my debt to another collector.
