Harrassment from their staff

I am a disabled pensioner who receives a social grant from the State. I have on numerous occasions sent E-mails to MBD explaining my situation and sent them proof of medical records that I am not in the position to pay any amount of money, but they just disregard my correspondence. Recovering bad debt seems to be a very lucrative business for both the banks and collection lawyers..They employ people who are trained to harass and either persuade or force people to pay certain amounts towards old debt which the banks have sold to the collection centres. These employees have very bad attitudes because they are trained to be so and their goal is to collect as much as possible while the executives sit in their plush offices smelling the roses. Luckily our judicial system has passed a law just recently prohibiting banks and micro lenders to collect old outstanding debt via garnishing orders or other means because of reckless lending practices. Many people are not aware of this law and this is to protect you and I who are in the same position. I am confident that Hello Peter will send the message out there to the people and thank you Hello Peter for the great work you are doing
