******* Harassment & Workplace ************ for a Settled Debt

MBD is attempting to ********ly collect a fabricated balance of R10,326.43, despite being provided with absolute legal proof that this debt does not exist: A certified Form 19 Clearance Certificate confirming the account was settled in full on 17/04/2026. An official ABSA Certificate of Balance showing a NEGATIVE balance of R-68.48. A written email from MBD's own Customer Care agent (Lettie Kgaladi Kgaphola) on 17/04/2026, explicitly confirming this exact account is "not on our records." Despite receiving a formal Cease and Desist notice with this evidence attached, MBD's call centre continues to bombard my personal phone (over 6 times in 24 hours) and send automated SMS threats with fabricated banking details. Most egregiously, their agents are actively phoning my workplace to apply pressure. This is a direct, deliberate violation of the Council for Debt Collectors (CFDC) Code of Conduct and the Protection from Harassment Act. A sworn affidavit and formal regulatory complaint is in the process of been lodged with the CFDC. My only acceptable resolution is the immediate removal of my personal and workplace contact numbers from your dialer, and a formal written letter from your compliance department confirming this account is permanently closed.

Reviewer Update
Despite my previous public complaint, MBD Inc. (Nutun) has failed to provide any formal response. Instead, their call centre continues to phone me daily, attempting to ********ly collect a fabricated balance of R10,326.43 on an ABSA account (***) that is legally settled. To place it on public record once again, MBD is deliberately ignoring absolute statutory proof that this debt does not exist: A certified Form 19 Clearance Certificate confirming settlement in full on 17/04/2026. An official ABSA Certificate of Balance reflecting a NEGATIVE balance of R-68.48. Written confirmation from MBD’s own Customer Care agent on 17/04/2026 stating this account is not on their records. Because MBD's resolution team is ignoring this platform while their automated dialer continues to harass me, I have formally escalated the matter. Active investigations are now registered with the Council for Debt Collectors (CFDC) for severe harassment and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) for direct violations of Section 71 of the National Credit Act. I expect a senior compliance officer to manually intervene, immediately remove my personal and workplace numbers from the dialer, and issue a formal closure letter.
