Harassment from MBD: Direct Axis account

I am writing to formally escalate a matter that has caused me significant distress and inconvenience. Despite having settled my account with Munnik Basson Dagama (MBD) in full, I continue to receive harassing calls and SMS messages regarding this account.

I have previously communicated with your representatives, including Ms. Lesego Ngwenya and Ms. Remona, and provided proof of payment for the settlement amount of R16,427.65, as quoted in July 2024. This payment was made and acknowledged, yet I have received no confirmation of account closure or cessation of communication.

Since April 2025, I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, including emails and phone calls, but have received no response. My emails dated 3 April 2025 and 24 January 2025, which were directed to Ms. Lesego and copied to Ms. Remona, remain unanswered.

Furthermore, I escalated this matter to Mr. Xolile on 14 May 2025, yet there has still been no communication or even acknowledgment of receipt from any MBD representatives. This continued lack of response and ongoing harassment is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I respectfully request the following:

1. Immediate cessation of all communication regarding the settled account. 2. Written confirmation that the account has been closed and marked as settled. 3. An explanation as to why this matter has not been resolved despite multiple escalations.

Should this issue not be resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter further, including lodging a formal complaint with relevant regulatory bodies.
