Harassing

MBD is constantly harassing me with message regarding outstanding debt from a Bayport account. I had an account with them in 2011. My monthly instalments was paid by debit order. According to me the amount of R780 was paid monthly. As I have no information about this account anymore I have no proof that this account has been paid up to date. Now after four years I get messages to pay the outstanding balance to MBD. As far as my knowledge the new Credit Act of March 2015 forbit any company to harass you for old debt. I phoned Trans Union who is also busy with this dispute and mailed it to the relevant parties, without any reply or success. Trans Union is know busy with the dispute. As far as my laywer debt that is prescribed is older than 3 years which is this case and the only debt that needs to be settled is a home loan or money owning to SARS. Why after four years they start harassing me? I also forwarded the information to the Consumer Law who informed me to ignore the threats.
