Handed over for an acc I dont have

I Received a call from a doff lady at Andre Van Der Walt attorneys claiming that I have been handed over by MBD for debt collection. After a rather unpleasant 30mins chatting to a very *********** and rude Janine and Nontokozo who didn't seem to have any information on the account (not even and amount) I was told to contact MBD directly. I spoke to lady named Melanie who I do have to say was rather patient (by this time I was already fuming). Who advised me that the account had in fact been closed (an account I don't have by the way) and that I should lodge a dispute and that she would have someone contact me urgently to assist. Not sure what they would consider urgent as its been well over 1.5hrs and I'm still waiting. Seems that you don't actually have to be in debt for any credit provider to hand you over to a debt collector, they can do it on a whim. Now it seems I have a mark against my credit rating for an account I've never opened. Gotta love SA
