Duplicated Debit orders

I had an arrangement with MBD for a debit order for R1000.00 on the 15th of December, all went successful and past this arrangement i got another call to arrange for another one for January 25th 2018. on the 22 December another debit order for R500.00 went off my account. I called to query this and demanded a call for an apology, none of this has happened. Now i am not entirely convinced that is ethical let alone legal for them to take funds as they wish without my consent.

it is a good thing that the calls are recorded, I am escalating this with the ombudsman.
