Credit status still showing owing

It sedning that when you do the right thing by paying what you owe as soon as you are able after the MBD attorneys have phoned you a million times. My wife was handed over by Caoitec bank to MBD attorneys and she has paid whatever she owed theough MBD now she has been asking them to update their system in order for her to be cleared but that has not happened since last year April. Whenever we phone no one knows what to do that is if we get to speak to someone. What the hell is she supposed to do now?.
