Compromising my personal info

Hi Trueworth.

I intend on bringing a case against you for causing me and my family irreparable damages, most particularly damages to my Life for simply compromizing my personal information.

Facts are: I have an account with you and yes it is in areas. it is also a fact that I made arrangement and paid last month as arranged. It is a fact that you have my cellphone number, which has been confirmed with your agents several times. It is a fact that I am contactable and reacheable from the cellphone number that I have confirmed as mine and that I receive SMS'ses from you on the cellphone number that I have confirmed as mine.

My complaint: You decided to use a cellphone that I have never confirmed as mine to disclose, my initials, surname and account number and the fact that I am in arreas, to a third party.

I called and your agent suggested that my alternative numbers are taken as my own personal number (not true), she also suggested that because I owe you POPIA does not apply to nor protect me (not true as well).

Therefore; Why when you have the number that I have confirmed as my cellphone number and able to reach me from it, send me SMS'ses on it, would you go and compromise my personal information and disclose my business to a third party by means of sending an SMS to a number that I have never confirmed as mine.

Again, I do not remember giving out this number to you as my alternative number, I used a different one, so as to where you get it from, I don't know. More than anything, a simple fact that I did not give this number to you suggests to me, you have intentionally gone out of your way to compromise my personal information, thus I believe this to be a classical case of contravening the POPIA.

I therefore intend on bringing a case against you under section 106 (1)(a) (not limited to) of the POPIA.
