Cleared debt!

I had a Capitec account that was with MBD , account settlement *** . 22 Sept I paid my capitec debt and I was informed that it will be cleared in credit bureau 90 days after the settlement letter & payment. 1 year later it has come to my attention that my name is listed on credit bureau due to this account that I paid ages ago . This has affected my credit score since and job opportunities which is incredible unfair and utter unprofessional as I have worked incredibly hard to fix my credit score and get job opportunities that I desire. This needs to be fixed immediately and I demand compensation for the inconvenience this is still causing me till this day !
