Avoid MBD = Make use of another Debt Collector

MBD is a collections agency. They phone my work everyday looking for one of my colleagues. I have asked them on numerous occasions to make a note in their systems that she will not return to work for 3 weeks but they still phone everyday and treat me as if I am a piece of **** and owe them something. Surely everyone will get frustrated having to repeat themselves over and over everyday. The staff is highly unprofessional and when I answer the phone, they speak in a very rude and abrupt manner. They get irritated when I provide them with the details and this morning the lady that phoned insisted on my colleagues cell number. When I told her that I am not allowed to give her the number she insisted on talking to our HR. I informed her that our HR Director, well actually all our Directors were away this week and told her to phone back on Monday and ask for Mr. ... She threw the phone down in my ear. She phoned from number ***. When you try to phone back that number it says that it is not in use. How is that possible? So I googled their number and phoned *** and a very kind lady assisted me. She looked up on the system and saw that it was a lady by the name Yolanda that phoned me. Well, today I made a point of getting a hold of someone as their staff is rude, inexperienced and unprofessional when it comes to dealing with clients. Little bit of advice... when you have people skills and are kind and compationate, friendly, listen and are understanding, people tend to react better but when you treat people like next to nothings, they are not interested in what you have to say and will avoid you at any cost. Bullies are not a pleasure to deal with. Suggestion to Management: pay attention to the call centre staff, spend time with then, listen to the manner in which they talk to people. Calls are recorded right? Do spot checks. Send people for the necessary training. Invest a little, to make a little. Thank you for taking the time to read this. It is really sad to have experienced this YOLANDA
