Account Paid Up yet receiving emails and sms

So here we go again...my account has been paid up last year 2020 already.Have the paid up letter to prove.When i contacted MBD i was told that Foschini should close the account.When i contacted Foschini they told me the account is no longer with them and there is a zero balance as the account was paid up.I contact MBD again and then was told the account is with special recovery accounts which should be send for closure and i should send my paid up letter as well.This all happened in August of 2021.I did everything send the mail with paid up letter and explained that the account has been fully settled.I have heard nothing from this special recovery accounts since then.

Its July 2021 and guess what??? Im getting sms final notices and urgent emails to settle my outstanding account i have with Foschini. Same account same reference but now there is a new amount added to this account. Is MBD Attorneys trying to make money here and just create their own balances and threaten consumers out there with money owed that never existed?

I just saw another complain from a consumer Desiree N that is encountering the same issue i had last year. And low and behold she is also getting calls again from MBD asking for payments to be made on a Vodacom account that has been settled already.Geeze what type of Mickey Mouse business are these people running.People loosing their jobs due to covid and MBD just keep on running a business and sending threatened messages to accounts that has already been paid up.G
