Account has been prescibed

<p>My wife had an account with FNB, loan account. Due to unforseen problems we could not have paid the account. No one has contacted us with 3 to 5 years in conection with this account. Now all of a sudden we start receiveing e-mails demanding us to make a payment towards the account. According to South African Law act 68 of 1969 are this account prescribed and MBD Attorneys are obligated to remove my wifes name from the ITC. No where did we make a promise to get this account paid in full nor to get it paid on a monthly basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>I give MBD Attorneys 3 working days to clear my wifes name from the ITC and send us a letter via e-mail that the account has been closed due to prescribtion, as well that her name has been removed from the ITC.</p> <p> </p> <p>It does not help to e-mail the call centre as they just ignore you.</p> <p> </p> <p>If this does not happen I will be forced to take this matter further.</p>
