Threats and Harassment from their agent Trudie Low

These people are relentless. I don’t even know if what they do has a name, but what I can say is that they’ve put me through what feels like a humiliation ritual. In 2023, I lost my dad, who was the breadwinner at home, and the shock was real. It got to the point where I couldn’t continue working, so I left Johannesburg and went back home with just a suitcase. I had left my belongings at the place I was renting at the time. A few months later, my brother-in-law fetched my belongings, and by then I had accumulated arrears because my stuff was still there and I wasn’t paying. That was fair. What wasn’t fair was that while I was still trying to get back on my feet, they tracked me down and emailed my previous employer, sharing my private information with a third party, including how much I owed and the action they intended to take against me. It was incredibly embarrassing because I was trying to pick up the pieces of my life little by little, and then they did this. I changed employers, and last month, when I was supposed to make a payment, there were delays because of cash flow problems on my employer’s side. I even sent them proof. When I eventually paid the amount I could afford, they sent their agent, Trudie Low, to further harass and intimidate me into paying. My question is this: I’ve been communicating with you back and forth this entire time. Don’t you think that if I had the money, I would pay you? Now they are saying they will send the sheriff to come and take my belongings, and I still have to pay almost R10,000 more. All I have is a bed, a company laptop, and my phone. I’m at a loss for words when it comes to how cruel some people can be. I’m not expecting sympathy, but a bit of understanding would go a long way.
