My husband approached MBA Auto to help him with the purchase of a second hand vehicle, what a disaster!! The salesperson assured my husband that he will find a suitable vehicle (in good condition) for him for the financed price. We were sent photo’s via cell phone showing us the vehicle and the condition of the vehicle. The salesperson also told us that the bank will only finance my husband for a newer model vehicle ex 2 ********** model. He also required a deposit of R20 000.00.

On Monday the 30th of January 2017 my husband went to MBA Auto to few the vehicle and sign the contract. On arrival he was told that the vehicle was on currently on the premises but assured that is was again in very good condition. In good thought my husband signed the contract and paid the R20 000.00 deposit as requested.

On Tuesday the 31st of January 2017 my husband were notified to come and fetch the vehicle. What a shoc****! The body of the vehicle had dents and scratches everywhere, by the driver’s door you could clearly see that someone tried to ***** the vehicle as the frame of the door was bent underneath the window. The seats were torn and badly repaired. There was also a strange sound coming from the engine and the smell of oil when you drove it.

My husband immediately took the vehicle back to MBA Auto and told them that he was not interested in this vehicle and this was not mentioned or shown in the pictures the salesperson sent to us.

Well four days later and MBA Auto is refusing to cancel the contract and refuses to give back the R20 000.00 deposit. And we still don’t have a vehicle.
