Warranty not honoured

Shortly after taking delivery of my vehicle, i noticed moisture in one of the fog lights. Left it as is thinking that the moisture will go away after some time while using the fog light. This didn't happen. Before getting a garage for inspection, the vehicle obtained a scratch on the same side as the fog light in question. Upon reaching the first service interval, I inquired on a warranty claim for the fog light that had moisture. This was declined by Mazda SA as 'the vehicle was in an accident, whereby the fog light was damaged'. At no time was the bumper, brackets or fog light itself (lens or brackets) inspected for any visible damage. So due to the scratch Mazda SA don't want to honour their Warrenty?? Is this the service we can expect from Mazda SA after divorcing from Ford SA???
